Ronyak Bros Paving Inc. History
A.J. Ronyak started his then called bituminous business in the 1930’s. A.J.’s three sons then took over his ever growing business.
In 1983 Ronyak Bros Paving Inc was incorporated and is owned and managed by A.J.’s grandson David W Ronyak.
The asphalt business has remained strong in the Ronyak blood. People chose asphalt which consists of sand, aggregates and asphalt cement because it is less expensive to install, easier and cheaper to maintain and, of course, looks better then concrete.
Ronyak Bros. Paving, Inc. is continually upgrading and replacing its equipment with quieter, faster and safer pavers, rollers and support equipment. Salesmen have been equipped with laptops used to print the customer a customized quote of their driveway. This technology allows the potential customer to have a quote immediately.
The Ronyak Companies have five prep crews and three paving crews and a fleet of trucks. The labor force peaks at about 70 workers in the summer. Our ability to pave anything from driveways, parking lots, and tennis courts to subdivision and roads has been our niche in the industry. But we couldn’t do any of it without teams of people who strive for quality workmanship.
The majority of the asphalt used on the jobs is purchased from the Shalersville Asphalt Company which is an asphalt plant David Ronyak oversees in Portage County. They manufactures asphalt that in addition to the Ronyak companies is sold to many local paving contractors, municipalities, counties and certain divisions of the State of Ohio.
Some day Dave hopes to turnover the business to his three children so that the tradition of excellence may live on in Burton, Ohio for some time to come.
NEW! We are pleased to announce that Ronyak Brothers Paving has been selected for the 2009 Best of Burton Award in the Asphalt & Asphaltic Paving Mixtures category by the US Commerce Association.
Each year, the US Commerce Association (USCA) identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
